This introductory class focuses on covering the basics of shooting 35mm film, including loading/unloading film cameras, understanding ISO/ASA, learning how to manually control the camera and other priority settings: depth of field, shutter speeds, aperture/shutter priority, and light metering.
In addition, an instructional photowalk will take place in the later parts of the class to get hands-on experience with the techniques/fundamentals learned within the classroom.

Instructor Bio:
This class will be taught by Jonn Sherrill, a fine artist and film photographer based out of Los Angeles. He has been a professional photographer for 8 years, specializing in landscape and documentary work.
John shoots exclusively analog formats, from 35mm to 8×10 large format film. Jonn is also an experienced darkroom printer and film processor. Because he is self-taught, he has learned everything through extensive research and trial and error and aspires to share his knowledge with other photographers. Jonn, emphasizes technicalities in his personal work and will structure his classes around fundamentals as well.
