Learn how to confidently photograph families with guidance on posing, family groupings, and creating genuine connection. This class covers recommended gear, camera settings, location scouting, and working with different lighting conditions. Ideal for beginners who want effective techniques to provide polished, heartfelt family portraits.

 

** The classroom is located on the second floor of our store. Access to the classroom is available via stairs. There is no elevator to the second floor.**

Instructor Bio:

Madison Hood has been in the photography industry since 2016, whether it’s behind the camera or behind the counter working at a camera store. She graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and currently lives in San Diego, California. She enjoys telling stories through street and documentary style photography along with shooting film and experimenting with alternative processes like cyanotypes and salt prints. She is passionate about photography both creatively and technically and loves sharing her exploration with others.
