Samy’s is pleased to welcome Stephen Vanasco for a Leica-sponsored event at Samy’s Camera in Los Angeles.
During this event, Stephen will discuss the importance of photographers continuing to expand their creative eye through multiple subject matters and techniques. Far too often, photographers/creatives are told to find their niche and stick to that. Photography is such an expansive medium, one that allows for the exploration of all boundaries.

Instructor Bio:
Stephen Vanasco is a N.Y. born L.A. raised photographer. Since picking up a camera 20 years ago he has demonstrated his love for the medium as well as his self evolution in it. Not allowing to be confined to a box of one type of subject matter he stays inspired by exploring everything that grabs is his eye while translating it through his lens. Currently residing in Los Angeles he continues to explore the art of photography in a fast paced ever changing world.
