Join Samy’s instructor Art Ramirez and a group of like-minded photo enthusiasts for a photo adventure at the Huntington Library!
Art will lead an instructional session at Samy’s Camera in Pasadena, where he will go over skills, including how to photograph nature and the best camera settings needed for the shoot at the Huntington Gardens.
Students will break for lunch and meet at 1 pm at the Huntington Library & Gardens to spend the rest of the day shooting with Art as your guide.
Level: Beginner to Intermediate. Attendees should be familiar with the basic functions and menus of their camera.
What to Bring: Please bring your camera, lenses, and a small tripod. Macro lenses are suggested. Remember to wear good shoes and appropriate clothing.
Admission to the Library grounds is not included in the workshop fee. If you are not a member of the Huntington Gardens, please purchase a ticket for admission online here. We encourage you to purchase tickets for the Huntington ahead of time, as they may sell out.
As with all outdoor courses, if the weather does not cooperate, we will postpone the course and call everyone the evening prior. If you do not receive an email or a phone call, please proceed to your course.
