Join Samy’s Camera and Sony for a hands-on Zoo Photo Day at the Orange County Zoo! This event is a great opportunity for photographers of all skill levels to experience Sony cameras and lenses while capturing wildlife in a fun, outdoor setting.
Sony staff will be on site throughout the event to provide instruction, answer questions, and help you get the most out of your camera and borrowed gear.
Event Details:
- Live Online Zoom Lecture with wildlife photographer Karen Schuenemann on April 23rd @7pm
- Hands-On Shoot on April 24th @9am
- Location: Orange County Zoo
- Gear Pickup: Begins at 9:00 AM in the OC Zoo parking lot
- Zoo Opens: 10:00 AM
- Gear Return Deadline: 1:00 PM
Sony demo gear will be available to borrow during the event. Please bring your own memory cards, and all borrowed equipment must be returned by 1:00 PM. We also recommend bringing a tripod to maximize your wildlife and telephoto shooting opportunities.

- Zoo admission: $2 per person (not included in registration fee)
- Parking: $3 per vehicle (not included in registration fee)
