Join Samy’s Camera and Leica at our Los Angeles store for a special hands-on launch event celebrating the new Leica SL3-P.
Leica Ambassador Stephen Vanasco will host the event and guide guests through the creative possibilities of the SL3-P. Stephen will share his insight and real-world experience while helping attendees explore the camera through three dynamic shooting opportunities featuring a dancer, a model dog, and a martial arts performer.
Guests will have the opportunity to try the SL3-P in person, with 12 demo cameras available throughout the event. Creative shooting stations will be set up so attendees can experience the camera’s performance, handling, image quality, autofocus, and video capabilities in a real-world environment. Whether you shoot stills, motion, or both, this is a great opportunity to explore Leica’s newest hybrid camera system firsthand.
Designed for modern hybrid image-makers, the SL3-P combines a 44 MP full-frame sensor, fast hybrid autofocus, high-speed shooting up to 40 fps, 8K Open Gate video, 4K 120p recording, and Leica’s renowned Made in Germany craftsmanship.
Profoto will provide the lighting demo gear for the event.
Instructor Bio
Stephen Vanasco is a N.Y. born L.A. raised photographer. Since picking up a camera 20 years ago he has demonstrated his love for the medium as well as his self evolution in it. Not allowing to be confined to a box of one type of subject matter he stays inspired by exploring everything that grabs is his eye while translating it through his lens. Currently residing in Los Angeles he continues to explore the art of photography in a fast paced ever changing world.
