Join full-time cooking creator Philip Lemoine for a hands-on workshop on how to make better cooking videos. Hosted by Samy’s Camera and Sony, this workshop will break down Philip’s approach to recipe content creation, including camera placement, lighting, audio, and the Sony gear he uses to capture professional-quality food content.
Philip will share the workflow he has developed through more than six years of creating cooking videos and over 20 years of videography experience. Attendees will learn how he films each major step of a recipe, from prep to cooking to plating, while using tools like Sony’s Monitor & Control app to streamline the filming process and make multi-camera setups easier to manage.
The goal of this workshop is to help creators film cooking videos with more confidence, less stress, and more room to enjoy the creative process. The session will be casual and interactive, with time for questions throughout the demo, followed by a meet-and-greet with appetizers and refreshments.
There will be Sony swag!
No parking will be available in Samy’s Camera’s parking lot for this class. The parking lot is available only for disabled persons and short-term store parking. We highly recommend using public transportation or ride share options. There is a D Line station just a few blocks away at Fairfax/Wilshire.
