Students will learn how to approach high-speed environments safely, make smart gear choices, master motion techniques like panning, and tell a visual story that goes beyond the car.
The class also explores how to turn passion into a profession. From building your first motorsports portfolio to networking with teams, media, and sponsors, you’ll gain practical insights into becoming a paid photographer in this exciting field.

Instructor Bio:
I’ve been a professional photographer for over twelve years, specializing in capturing the artistry, emotion, and raw energy of motorsports. Over the years, I’ve worked with world-class brands including Ferrari, Dallara, Porsche, and Pagani, as well as numerous racing teams and private clients. From the pits to the paddock, I focus on storytelling through motion, light, and timing—turning split-second moments into lasting visual narratives. My creative process has evolved through working with Fujifilm, Leica, and Canon systems, each bringing its own character and strengths to my work. Much of my gear has come from Samy’s Camera, whose knowledgeable staff and genuine support have played a big part in helping me refine my craft and stay at the cutting edge of the industry.
Before photography became my full-time pursuit, I spent years immersed in the automotive world—coaching at the track, including for Ferrari and Porsche, and working with elite manufacturers such as Bugatti, Lamborghini, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, and Maserati. I also ran a custom shop building Eleanor Mustangs, hot rods, and bespoke performance cars. That hands-on mechanical and racing experience gives me a unique understanding of the machines and moments I photograph, allowing me to bridge the worlds of performance and art in every image.
