SIGMA & Benro Polaris Star Tracker loaner gear and so much more.\n\n\nWorkshop Schedule: \n\nOnline Lecture – April 15th @7pm Pacific Time\nOn Location\, Hands-on Shoot – April 17th@ 11:30pm Time\nOnline Post Processing Session – April 21st @7pm Pacific Time\n\n  \nOn Location\, Hands-On Shoot April 17th @11:30pm – April 18th @5:30am \nJack will lead a small group of photographers to a fantastic view of Bortle Class 2 skies\, nearly as dark as the sky can get. \nJack will be guiding you through the basics of astrophotography all the way up to advanced techniques. There will be a review of basic astronomy information that will help you plan and capture images of the stars. \nThrough this very unique astrophotography workshop\, you will have the opportunity to use the Sigma 50mm F1.2 DG DN to shoot incredible panoramic images of the Milky Way as it rises above the horizon. The longer focal length and fast F1.2 aperture will result in truly stunning and detailed images above the otherworldly pinnacles. \nThere will also be several Benro Polaris heads available for attendees to try out during the workshop. The Polaris smart tripod head can capture incredible motion timelapses\, panoramas\, focus stacking\, exposure stacking\, and even long exposures of the night sky. \nWhat You Will Learn \n● We will meet on location with time to scout and plan compositions. \n● Jack will share his personal approach to how he would plan an entire night to maximize his time shooting and ensure that he leaves with images he is excited about. \nLoaner Gear \n**The Sigma 50mm F1.2 DG | A is available for both E & L mount \nA selection of SIGMA lenses and Benro Polaris for attendees to use during the location outing. \nWhat You Should Bring \n● A DSLR or Mirrorless Camera with manual settings \n● A fast aperture lens \n● Extra batteries (2 or more) and memory cards (64gb+) \n● A sturdy tripod \n● Shutter Release / Intervalometer \n● Red light equipped headlamp\, the red light will be less harsh on our eyes and help keep night vision intact! \n● Warm clothing – Dress in layers to help stay warm \n● Wear decent hiking shoes/boots to manage the terrain \n● Water/Snacks \nWe highly encourage you to attend the online lecture on April 15th to help you be more prepared for the location experience. \n\n\n\nONLINE LECTURE – April 15th at 7pm Pacific Time \nPlease plan to attend this live presentation or watch the recording before we meet in the field.
