This is a Live Online Distance Learning class takes place live via Zoom. It is a two session class that meets from 10am-12pm for level 1 and 1pm-3pm for level 2. We encourage you to install and test the Zoom software on your device prior to the class.
Understanding Your Digital Camera LEVEL 1 – 10am-12pm
This is a basic class for individuals who own a point-and-shoot or Digital SLR camera and wish to learn more about navigating through all those confusing camera modes. We will discuss the very basic operation of Digital cameras, such as setting your camera’s resolution, basic flash operation, basic menu functions, memory cards, storage and more. This class is not specific to any particular camera manufacturer. Whether you purchased the camera for yourself or received it as a gift, this is the class to get all of your questions answered! Class duration is 2 hours including question and answer session.
Understanding your Digital Camera LEVEL 2 – 1pm – 3:30pm
Understanding Your Digital Camera Level 1 got you up to speed with your camera and its menus and buttons, now learn how to really dive in and get those shots you are looking for. Art will guide you through various photography situations and how best to use your camera. You will walk away from this class with having a better understanding of you camera and the confidence that goes along with it. Some topics discussed will be: Exposure, Light Metering, Auto Focus, Shutter Speed and Aperture.
