This workshop will teach you the basics of creating an animated landscape using Unreal Engine 4 through an exploratory sandbox experience. You will be dropped into a pre-existing environment modeled by ECA’s instructor and walked through the basic steps to import other assets from the free-to-use Unreal Engine Marketplace. With several dynamic virtual elements in motion, we will cover all of the basic controls required to give you the autonomy to experiment with UE4. This workshop will focus on creating the landscape as well as creating a full day / night cycle through lighting manipulation.
This class is designed for beginners but is open to all levels of videographers and cinematographers. All ages are welcome!
