Event Description:
Matthew will speak about his own experiences as a Director of Photography, while providing an overview and demonstration of the Canon Cinema EOS line of cameras and lenses – including the C500 mark II, C300 mark III, C70, and the new Flex Zooms.
Matthew Irving Bio:
Currently a Sr. Technical Specialist for Canon U.S.A., Matthew Irving spent 27 years as a professional cinematographer. During that time, he shot 38 feature films and a wide variety of short subjects (including TV, commercial, corporate) in just about every genre imaginable — including multiple box office “Top Ten” hits and Sundance Film Festival premieres. Irving has also lectured extensively at universities and film festivals on the topics of cinematography and film history.
